Editorial Policy
DebtMarket publishes institutional notes on charged-off debt sales. This page states who the copy is for, what we will not claim, and how to ask for a correction.
Updated October 1, 2026 · Triton Financial Solutions
DebtMarket is the public desk of Triton Financial Solutions, LLC. The pages on this site explain how charged-off receivables move between companies. They are written for original creditors, sellers, operating buyers, and brokers. A person looking up a personal account will not find a payment plan here.
What we publish
Process pages describe a real sequence: a snapshot, an NDA, a data tape, a bid, a purchase agreement, funding, and a warranty window. Field pages name the columns and documents a desk actually asks for. Pricing pages print discussion ranges and the inputs that move a file inside those ranges. Compliance pages point at the statute or rule they are describing and stay educational.
Each public URL has one job. The homepage is the broker desk. Buyer, seller, and portfolio-intake pages keep their own topics. A link that used to fall back to the homepage now lands on the page that answers it, or on the page that already owned that topic.
What we leave out
- Consumer settlement scripts, hardship plans, and “how to stop a collector” advice. Those are not this desk.
- A guaranteed percent of face. A bid is a number on one file after the tape and the media are in hand.
- Invented market statistics. When a figure is a discussion band, the page says so. When a figure is a desk operating claim, such as face facilitated, the page says it is the desk’s own figure.
- Account-level inventories. Tapes move under NDA. Samples that leave the building are masked.
How a page is built
The visible H1 is the page title. The browser title and the meta description are written for that URL alone, so two pages do not compete for the same phrase. The first paragraph answers the question the URL implies. Later sections use a heading, then a table or a list, then the neighboring page a reader should open next.
Dates at the top of a page are the last time that page was updated. A pricing band that says 2026 is a discussion range for that year, not a forecast and not a closing price.
Corrections
If a field name, a date definition, or a contact detail is wrong, email portfolios@debtmarket.net with the URL and the sentence. The desk corrects the page. We do not run a public comment thread on these articles.
Privacy requests about the website itself go to admin@debtmarket.net, which is the address named in the privacy policy. Portfolio conversations stay on portfolios@.
Who pays for the copy
Triton writes the pages. Buyers and sellers do not pay for a mention, a ranking, or a placement in a list. A counterparty named on the site is named because the sentence needs the entity, which is Triton Financial Solutions, LLC. Trade-group alignment is described on the trust page. It is not a badge we sell.
Legal and regulatory pages are education for people who already buy or sell paper. They are not a law firm memo. State rules change. The state map and the FDCPA overview are the places to start, and a counterparty still confirms its own obligations.
